You can easily register your child using the ‘Registration’ form on our website. Once we receive the form, our General Manager will personally contact you to finalise the registration. Have you not yet had a tour? Please complete the ‘Request a Tour’ form first. After the tour, we will contact you by phone within about a week to discuss your experience. If you then wish to proceed with registration, you can fill in the ‘Registration’ form.
At Little Guests KDV (Day Nursery), we offer fixed full-day contracts with our opening hours of 07:30 – 18:30. You always purchase 11 hours, regardless of the time you drop off or pick up your child. It is possible to take out a contract from just one fixed day per week. At Little Guests BSO (After-School Care), we have two different types of care; a fixed contract based on fixed days from when school finishes until our closing time of 18:30, and we also have our Little Flex Service for families who require occasional care. Please visit our Little Flex Service page for more information. All our contracts have a minimum duration of 6 months. Flexibility is possible, so please contact us by phone and select the ‘office’ option to discuss the possibilities.
In the Netherlands, you may be able to make use of government childcare allowance. This is a contribution from the government towards the costs of childcare, depending on your income and the number of childcare hours per week. You can apply for the allowance via the Tax and Customs Administration. The amount of the allowance depends on your income and the costs of childcare.
At Little Guests, we use a monthly direct debit system. The monthly amount is clearly stated in the contract. The first two months' payment will be automatically debited one month before the start date, after which we will invoice you monthly.
The direct debit takes place around the 27th of each month. If there are any changes to the childcare, such as extra days or hours, these will be communicated and adjusted in the direct debit for the following month.

There is currently no waiting list at Little Guests and you can often be seen immediately!
The moment you as parents have signed the contract, you can still cancel free of charge up to 1 month before your start date. If you cancel the contract within a month of the start, the first two months of childcare will be invoiced.
Contract cancellations and amendments can be emailed to r.top@littleguests.nl. Contract cancellations can be given one month in advance. All contract changes must be given two months in advance, due to invoicing being two months ahead. Changes can be granted subject to availability.
The contract runs until the day your child turns 4. After that, it stops automatically. Your child can already start primary school on their 4th birthday. If you wish to extend the contract, for example, because your child's birthday falls during a school holiday, please contact us in good time via r.top@littleguests.nl and we will be happy to look at the possibilities together.
When you have an after-school care (BSO) contract, we offer care after school hours. Depending on when school finishes, children will be collected around that time by a pedagogical staff member. During school holidays and/or training days, children are welcome all day at the BSO. The same times apply as for the daycare centre: 07:30-18:30. This only applies to your contracted days. If, for example, a training day falls outside your contracted day and you would still like care that day at Little Guests, please request an extra day via the Parent app. You can do this by using credit hours; choose this option when requesting an extra day. If you have no credit hours left, please opt for a regular extra day.
An extra day will be carried over into the monthly standard billing a month later. This extra day will be visible on this invoice.
No, there is no discount for a second or subsequent child. However, for a second child, parents will receive relatively more childcare benefit from the tax authorities.
Each year, at the end of October, you will receive a notification from us regarding the tariff adjustments for the upcoming calendar year. These adjustments are necessary to cover the increase in (labour) costs and inflation, while simultaneously ensuring healthy business operations.
At Little Guests, we understand that starting at a nursery or after-school club is a special step, for both children and you as parents. That's why we've developed a carefully designed Customer Journey to make this transition as smooth as possible. Well before the first day of care, parents receive all the necessary information, in the form of a physical welcome pack, so you are well prepared.
Before starting, the Department Manager will personally contact you to discuss the settling-in period. During this initial settling-in phase, we will gradually increase childcare hours over the first three days, coordinated with your working days and times. This allows your child to get accustomed at their own pace, and to suit you as parents. After the settling-in period, an evaluation meeting will be held with the Department Manager. Together, we will reflect on these first few weeks and discuss any necessary adjustments, ensuring everything continues to align with your wishes.
At Little Guests, one of our core values is to take the worry away. This means you don't have to worry about many practical matters as a parent. We only ask you to bring a set of spare clothes for your child. We will provide everything else needed, from nappies to dummies, and from bottles to all kinds of food. This way, you can focus on other things while we take care of your child's comfort and well-being.
At Little Guests, we've deliberately chosen a layout that we call “lofts” to create a homely atmosphere for the children. These lofts offer a safe, comfortable, and cosy environment where the children can truly feel at home.
In total, we have four "baby lofts," divided into two smaller and two larger spaces. Children aged 0 to 1 year old are cared for in these lofts. As soon as they outgrow this stage, they move to the "toddler lofts." We have three toddler lofts, all of equal size, and children aged 1 to 2 years old play here.
After that, the children move on to the Toddler Lofts. Here we also have three lofts, which are all the same size, and the children remain in these lofts until they go to school.
We have deliberately chosen this organisation to ensure that every child receives appropriate care, attention, and activities tailored to their age group. Each child has a permanent home group, creating a familiar and safe environment in which they can develop.
The language of instruction at Little Guests is Dutch. We aim to first establish a bilingual out-of-school care (BSO) service, after which we would also like to open a bilingual group for 0-4 year olds in the future. We are very pleased to welcome many families from different cultures at Little Guests. Our care for the children and ensuring they feel safe and secure is our first priority. For children who do not speak Dutch, we offer a transition period during which we translate Dutch into English. For parents, all general communication will take place in both English and Dutch.
At Little Guests, we offer an exceptional nursery and after-school care service, boasting multiple extra activity rooms, such as a gymnasium, laboratory, snooze rooms, a children's cookery café, a creative attic, and a theatre. This enables us to organise a wide range of activities, both inside and outside our premises, which are surrounded by several gardens. Here, we can arrange (theme-related) activities for the children, ensuring there is always plenty to do.
If we decide to go on an outing with the children, parents will be informed in the morning. This way, they will always be kept up to date with the day's plans.
At Little Guests, we closely follow your child's development through our child monitoring system. Our pedagogical professionals have extensive experience in observing and guiding children's development. They observe your child daily during care moments, play moments, and free play, ensuring there is always visibility into their development.
The mentor records these observations in a digital system and discusses your progress with you annually in a personal meeting. If there are concerns, we will involve you directly and look together at the best way to provide support. Parents can always request a meeting to discuss their child's development. In addition, there is of course an opportunity for this during the handover moments.
At Little Guests, the safety, health, and development of children are central. We operate according to strict safety and quality guidelines, continuously invest in our staff, and comply with all legal requirements for childcare.

At Little Guests, the health and well-being of every child are paramount. We strive to provide an environment where children can develop optimally, both physically and mentally. An essential part of healthy development is protecting children against preventable diseases through vaccination. We therefore believe in the Dutch vaccination policy, which aims to protect the health of children and society. This policy helps to prevent serious illnesses and ensures that all children can grow up in the best possible circumstances. We will always adhere to the legislation regarding childcare and vaccinations.
At Little Guests, we encourage parents to follow the National Vaccination Programme to protect the health of their children and others. We ask parents to voluntarily provide information about their children's vaccination status so that we can take appropriate measures in the event of an outbreak of an infectious disease. We respect parental privacy and handle this information with strict confidentiality.
In the event of an infectious disease outbreak, we will consult with the Municipal Health Service (GGD) and other stakeholders to assess which measures are necessary to safeguard the health of all children.
The number of pedagogical professionals working in a loft depends on the size of the loft and the number of children in the group. The size of the loft determines the maximum number of children that can be present, and based on that number, the required number of pedagogical professionals is allocated, which is legally established. This ensures that each child receives the appropriate care and attention, in accordance with the legal staff-to-child ratio.
The specific ratios vary depending on the age of the children:
Our pedagogical staff are well-trained and qualified according to Dutch legislation. They hold a diploma in pedagogical work or social work. The team has a combination of MBO-4 and HBO (higher professional education) qualifications in various fields such as; Social Work or Education.
At Little Guests, we continually invest in the development of our employees. Our pedagogical professionals follow training and further education courses and participate in regular evaluation, development, and feedback discussions. Furthermore, all childcare locations are inspected by the GGD (Public Health Service) to ensure quality and compliance with laws and regulations.
