Daycare

At Little Guests, our home becomes a second home for your child. In addition to loving care, we're happy to support parents with development and upbringing, because we believe that relaxed parents have the best influence on their child.

Loft by age group

At Little Guests, the lofts are organised by age (baby, toddler, and young child). Each space offers peace and structure, with passive toys that invite children to explore independently. Play materials are ready in various play corners, allowing children to entertain themselves calmly, together or on their own. The spaces are deliberately designed with a calm, low-stimulation decor, so that children can fully concentrate on play and development.

Our main points of focus

At Little Guests, three pillars are central: sleeping, playing, and nutrition. These form the basis of our daily care and contribute to a healthy, safe, and stimulating environment for every child. By giving these topics extra attention, we show what sets us apart.

Sleep well

At Little Guests, we ensure optimal sleep comfort, with every detail carefully considered to provide young children with the best rest.

  • Comfortable sleeping environment
    • At Little Guests, we have small bedrooms directly adjoining the loft. This allows our professionals to be with the children easily and quickly. A maximum of 4 children sleep in one bedroom to promote peace and sleep comfort.
  • Relaxing atmosphere
    • We create a calm atmosphere by offering a child-friendly furnished sleeping area with dim natural light. Each child has their own cot, which provides familiarity and security.
  • Sleep well
    • Our sleeping areas are equipped with age-appropriate bedding and a controlled room temperature between 15 and 18 degrees. In addition, all bedrooms have CO2 meters for continuous air quality monitoring.
  • Sleep policy and parent involvement
    • At Little Guests, we actively involve parents in their children's sleep routines. We collaborate to determine what is best for the child and are keen to work closely together.

Playing and moving

At Little Guests, play is given a central role in the daily development of every child. We create an environment where children can freely discover, grow, and shape their own play within our vision of play development.

  • Mindfully designed space
    • The room is organised into calm, clearly defined play areas where children can play together or independently. This setup helps them to stay focused for longer and supports their development within an inviting play environment.
  • Passive play equipment
    • We use passive play materials that invite children to give their own meaning to their play. Open-ended and simple materials create space for imagination, creativity, and problem-solving skills, in line with our vision for open-ended materials.
  • Guidance from Educational Professionals
    • Our pedagogical professionals join in with children's play and offer new possibilities without taking over. They inspire, enrich, and provide direction, while children discover and grow within their own play. More about our pedagogical role.
  • Age-appropriate activities
    • In the additional activity rooms, we offer activities that are suited to the child's age and stage of development. These rooms provide space for focused challenges in language, motor skills, creativity, and play, within a stimulating activity approach.

Food adventure

At Little Guests, food plays an important role in every child's daily experience. We create moments where eating brings calm, fun, and discovery, in line with our vision of healthy development.

  • Nutritious meal
    • At Little Guests, children from twelve months old participate in a varied feeding routine. They are given fresh fruit, vegetables, fibre daily, and a hot lunch every day, allowing them to experience different tastes and textures. During mealtimes, we drink water and tea. This approach supports a healthy foundation and makes nutrition a natural part of the day.
  • Fixed routine
    • The mealtimes follow a recognisable rhythm that gives children a sense of security. In the morning, fruit is central, while in the afternoon, we focus on vegetables and fibre. Each mealtime begins in the same calm way: looking, smelling, and tasting together. Older children can serve themselves, which helps them develop their independence. A familiar song signals the start of the mealtime, ensuring a consistent transition.
  • Encouraging eating
    • We never force children to eat, but we do encourage them to discover new flavours. A healthy relationship with food is paramount, which is why we encourage in a playful and relaxed way. The pedagogical professional eats a bite along, so that children feel safe and become curious. This creates a positive atmosphere in which tasting happens naturally.
  • Children's cooking cafe
    • At the Children's Cooking Café, children playfully discover where ingredients come from, what you can make with them, and how a meal is created. By cooking together, they experience how much fun it is to feel, chop, mix, and taste. This experience increases their curiosity and encourages them to try new flavours.
